Jean Chrétien going to hell?
According to a recent blurb on CBC Newsworld, Bishop Fred Henry of Calgary, Alberta thinks Prime Minister Chrétien might go straight to Hell if he passes same-sex marriage legislation. Well, think of all the Catholic priests, cardinals and bishops that will be down there to keep him company! And wouldn’t you know it, ol’ Fred once hired a priest who had been convicted of sexually assaulting a 16 year old boy in Ontario.
It’s nice to see the Pope and these Catholic leaders move so quickly to condemn same-sex marriage yet sit so passively by while thousands of children are abused and continue to be abused by depraved, yet religiously protected, clergymen.
Yeah, Fred, Jean will have lots of company down there…
